Ceramic rings
We use the ceramic multi-rings braces.
Brackets (commonly called "rings") are glued to the outer surface of the upper and lower teeth and an arch of different cross-section and composition is then positioned and adjusted at each appointment to move the teeth into the ideal position.
Appointments with your orthodontist are usually 5 to 8 weeks apart.
Appliances adapted to the youngest
For children between 4 and 11 years old, we use appliances that are easy to wear by our young patients (fixed or removable such as the false palate), discreet, allowing them to harmonize their growth, to correct thumb sucking problems, functional problems (tongue position, swallowing, mouth breathing, chewing) and to help place the future permanent teeth in their ideal position.
What is Invisalign® ?
Invisalign® is the aesthetic and comfortable alternative to conventional ring treatments, for adults and adolescents alike.
This orthodontic treatment moves the teeth with the help of transparent removable aligners. These are made to measure and are prepared using specialized software that allows you to visualize the desired dental movements. The teeth move progressively with each change of aligners.
Invisalign® is removable, which means that you can eat and drink what you want. You can brush and floss your teeth easily, which helps maintain good dental hygiene.
How does Invisalign® work ?
1 - A very precise 3D impression of your teeth is made with an optical camera.
2 - A virtual 3D computer model of the dental arches is created and the final position of the teeth is simulated by your orthodontist. The patient will be able to visualize before the beginning of the treatment the movements that the aligners will make successively, via a virtual set-up called : Clin Check. To optimize the movement, small composite pegs (the same colour as the tooth but pink on the Clin Check) are glued to the surface of the teeth during the treatment.
3 - A series of gutters is built from this virtual set-up.
4 - The patient wears the aligners, which are numbered in a precise order, and changes them every 1 to 3 weeks according to the orthodontist's prescription. The aligners are only removed for eating and brushing teeth. Over time, your teeth will gradually move. Consultations take place every 2 to 3 months. Since there are no braces, there are no injuries and therefore no emergencies, making this system ideal for frequent travelers or people who do not have much time to consult.
