Adult Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment is possible at any age. Adults can realign their teeth in the same way as children and adolescents.

If the aesthetic objective is essential, the search for the correct functioning of the dental unit is also essential : well-aligned teeth facilitate brushing, thus avoiding the formation of cavities, tartar deposits and the loosening of teeth. Some orthodontic treatments are intended to facilitate the future realization of implants or bridges.

In adults, the technique most often used is the Invisalign® transparent gutter technique which is more aesthetic, more comfortable and above all less long when it is a simple alignment of the incisors.

For the management of the most severe situations, surgical techniques can be combined with orthodontic treatment in order to restore the correct position of the jaws.
